Christmas Toy Distribution

We bring Christmas joy to over 300 local children in need and raise funds for our ministry through our Christmas in July giving campaign. Contact Margaret Steadman.

Homebound Ministry

We want to make sure that our homebound parishioners who cannot be physically present with us at Mass receive Holy Communion if they wish. They may be feeling alone and isolated from our faith community and in need of a pastoral care visit and the grace of receiving the Real Presence of the Eucharist at home.

Pastoral care visitation to homebound parishioners involves one of our Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) or a member of the clergy (such as Deacon Mike Bortnowski) visiting those parishioners who are homebound (either short-term or long-term) and unable to come to church. To request that a parishioner be added to the list of homebound parishioners to receive a pastoral care visit, please contact the parish office at (609) 345-1878 or send an email to:

Voices of St. Monica Choir

The choir serves at the 12 noon Sunday Mass at Star of the Sea. It praises and serves God by leading, engaging, and inspiring the assembly with contemporary, upbeat renditions of Catholic music.
